Biography
I am a transformational coach who loves to partner with people along their journey of self-discovery to better position them to achieve significant change in their personal and/or professional lives. I create safe space for people to dream and learn to trust in, and be, their genuine selves and lean into their power to design their desired futures and to take deliberate steps towards living them.
Doing all that I can for the benefit of our community is important to me. In addition to transformational coaching, one of the ways I contribute is through board service. Currently, I chair the boards of the St. Louis Business Empowerment Center and of the Sheldon Arts Foundation. I also serve as a member of the board of directors of the St. Louis Regional Arts Commission and the Whitaker Foundation. I have also served on, and chaired, the University of Missouri Board of Curators (a gubernatorial appointment with Senate confirmation), Deaconess Foundation Board of Trustees, and the Missouri Ethics Commission (a gubernatorial appointment with Senate confirmation).
I utilize my writing skills professionally as an attorney and creatively as a poet, and am proud that composers created musical scores for two of my poems. One, “Love Supreme”, was composed by Dr. Barbara Harbach for chamber music, performed and recorded by the St. Louis Women's Chorale. The other, “My Daddy Was a Horn Playa”, was composed for jazz and performed and recorded by The Bosman Twins.
