About Nicki

Nicki McClusky has a dual practice in Coaching (PCC, BCC, CTPC certifications) and Psychotherapy (LCSW, LPC licenses) in St. Louis, Missouri.  She coaches those who help others, serving individuals and groups in private sessions, workshops and international teleseminars.  Nicki has been a voice coach and psychotherapist for 34 years, and a certified teacher for 12 (K-Univ. level).  She became a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) after beginning her professional coach training 13 years ago, studying with four different coach training centers/schools.  Nicki assists her clients to speak and live from the voice of their souls.

Nicki offers Transformation Life and Voice Coaching to individuals who wish and need to change their inner self-talk in order to manifest their full potential in life.  She has created a new "inner voice" paradigm and several coaching tools that empower clients to dramatically alter the ways they speak to themselves; rather than hearing critical, down-putting messages, clients develop uplifting, supportive, and magnificent inner voices that equip them to “shine” and live their greatness.

Working as an Associate at "Excellence in Nonprofit Leadership" with nonprofit executive consultant, John McClusky, PhD, Nicki serves as coach to nonprofit executives in order for them to step into their "greatness" as they serve their various constituencies.

Nicki is also a published author in the fields of Coaching, Spirituality, and Psychotherapy—having written more than fifteen books and a voice coaching home study course.  She is an “expert author” at www.eZineArticles.com and www.SelfGrowth.com   where many of her articles have been published.  Nicki is also a professional photographer and singer.  Her varied background and creative interests equip her to relate to and understand people from a wide-range of orientations throughout the world.  Hundreds of individuals seeking awakening and empowerment through healing, transformation and joy find Nicki and benefit profoundly through the services she offers.

Earning a B.A. in Education in Washington State, an M.A. in Music/Voice in California, and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology in Missouri, Nicki is a gifted therapist, an exceptional coach, and an experienced (certified) teacher.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Missouri.  Nicki holds Level I Facilitator certification of the Sedona Method and has taught K-University level vocal music, including at the Univ. of Calif., Berkeley, the University City, MO public schools, and the St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley.

Nicki became a Life Coach while studying with Mentor Coach, the Institute for Life Coach Training, and International Coach Academy.  She completed her PCC (Professional Certified Coach), certification through the International Coach Federation in October, 2012, and also earned her certification as a Transformational Presence Coach in December (also in 2012) through the Center for Transformational Leadership and Coaching.  Nicki served as head coach for the ICA Life Coaching Community Group in 2011 and 2012 and is President-Elect 2016 for the ICF St.Louis chapter.

As a coach, Nicki loves to work as a Transformational Specialist, helping clients transform their lives and voices from the inside-out.  They, therefore, develop empowering self-talk, becoming authentic, compelling speakers in the process.  Her life mission:   “I awaken and empower.”

Nicki is a Fellow in the American Psychotherapy Association, and an active member (and past board member) of the Missouri Society of Clinical Social Work.  Nicki is a Self-Psychologically oriented therapist, specializing in working with patients who had very difficult beginnings in life.

Along with her husband, John, Nicki enjoys her life with their family, (Ben, Stacey, Evan and Madeline), extended family, friends, colleagues, and those they serve— in St. Louis and around the world.

Background:

I am a Transformation Life and Voice Coach.

  1.  Clients seek out my services for help in reaching/living their full potential.  In order to do that, we often need to explore their fundamental mindsets that govern their lives and examine/transform their inner self talk.

  2.  I serve clients who wish to become authentic, compelling speakers (outer voice coaching) and/or change the way they speak to themselves (inner voice coaching) so they can shift into the next realm of manifesting their potential professionally and personally.

My "life mission" is:   "I awaken and empower".
If you need to change your self-talk from that which does not serve you at all,
transforming your thought-forms, self talk and inner voices into
that which serves your highest good,
I am your coach.
I also love to help clients transform the energy of their Gremlin
---the inner voices that keep you from reaching your full potential.
