A Warm Welcome from Your Chapter President

Hello, everyone! I'm honored and excited to greet you for the very first time as your President. For those of you who haven't met me, my name is Lynette Robinson. I'm both a Director of Operations and a Life and Business coach for Legacy Building Women Leaders. My passion in helping them transform their lives and companies by offering them coaching that empowers them to lead.

I’m a Mom to two spirited daughters—Leah, who is nine and loves all things art and creativity, and Lyndsey, who is seven and never ceases to amaze me with her curiosity and determination. Rounding out my family is our beloved dog, Brown, who’s a wise and gentle 14-year-old chocolate lab. He’s seen us through countless family adventures and never fails to remind me about the joy in everyday moments.

I’m sharing these details about myself because I believe that genuine connection comes not just from our professional roles, but from the lives we lead and the stories we bring with us. We’re all coaches with unique journeys and motivations, and that diversity is something I want to celebrate in our community.

Looking Ahead: Goals and Vision

As your President, my primary goal is to foster richer connections and collaboration among our members. Coaching can sometimes feel isolating if we spend most of our time one-on-one with clients or working virtually. I believe in-person events can be a powerful way to change that dynamic, allowing us to meet face-to-face, share our experiences, and discover new opportunities to work together. Whether it’s a casual networking meetup or a more structured workshop, I want these gatherings to spark new ideas and strengthen our professional relationships.

Additionally, I plan to seek out partnerships with organizations across St. Louis. By uniting with local businesses and community groups, we can introduce the benefits of coaching to broader audiences while also offering fresh resources and opportunities to our members. If you have ideas for potential partnerships, or if you’ve been involved in an organization that might benefit from working with coaches, please reach out. Our collective knowledge and networks are among our greatest assets.

Committed to Our Growth and Excellence

One of my driving passions is continuous learning. I see it in my work with women entrepreneurs—each new insight can create transformative shifts in someone’s career or personal life. It’s no different for us as coaches. I want to ensure that our chapter offers relevant educational programs, skill-building sessions, and workshops that allow us to deepen our practice and stay current with industry developments. By growing professionally, we can serve our clients at the highest level and build thriving, meaningful coaching businesses.

A Shared Journey

It’s truly my pleasure and privilege to serve in this role. I promise to give my all, collaborating closely with our board of directors and each of you to keep this chapter vibrant, forward-thinking, and supportive. If we work together with open minds and open hearts, I’m confident we can achieve great things—in our own practices, in our clients’ lives, and across the St. Louis community.

I look forward to meeting many of you in person, whether at an upcoming event or out in the city. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out with your ideas, feedback, or just to say hello. Welcome, once again, to the next chapter of our journey. I can’t wait to see what we’ll create together!
