About this event
Networking offers us significant value to connect with potential clients, referral
sources, advocates, and business partnerships. However, many coaches find
networking to be uncomfortable, time-consuming, or lack a consistent process. During
this interactive presentation, we will discuss how we can be more authentic and
intentional with our networking. By aligning our networking process with our values,
goals, and personal style, we will make networking more easeful, enjoyable, and a
successful pursuit for us. Throughout this interactive presentation, participants will
create individualized networking processes and plans through a guided worksheet.
Learning Objectives:
1. Help coaches create a process, plan, and action steps for networking to support
the growth of their coaching business.
2. Help coaches relate to their clients by resolving their own discomfort with
networking through self-awareness, openness, and curiosity.
3. Train coaches to align networking with their values, goals, personal style, and
career path — equipping them to guide clients, since networking is a powerful tool for
achieving personal and professional goals.

Katie Boscher is a Career Coach, an ICF Associate Certified Coach, and a graduate of the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. She helps mid-career professionals and young adults clarify what's next in their lives, drawing on her coaching skills and background in marketing, sales, and education. One way she partners with clients is by helping them define an authentic, intentional networking approach they can leverage to achieve their desired career path. Having achieved prior job opportunities and grown her own coaching business through networking, Katie is now eagerly sharing those skills and passion for networking to support the coaching
