Coaching Military Transition: Accelerating Client Success Through Cultural Intelligence 

Military-connected clients represent one of the most underserved populations in coaching, yet they bring unique strengths and face distinct transition challenges that impact career satisfaction, relationship quality, and overall well-being. This interactive workshop equips coaches with research-based frameworks and practical tools to effectively support veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses.

Through case studies, live demonstrations, and practical application, participants will discover how to recognize hidden barriers to client success, adapt their coaching approach to honor military cultural norms, and accelerate meaningful progress during what is often described as one of life's most disorienting transitions. 

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
~Identify the top 5 reasons military-connected clients struggle in civilian workplaces (and how to coach them through these challenges)
~Recognize the #1 mistake coaches make when working with military/veteran clients (and how to avoid it)
~Apply the essential skill needed to effectively coach retainable military talent through transition Discover the key to helping clients achieve lasting success and retention in civilian careers
~Support clients in accelerating their cultural integration and high performance in civilian workplaces

Emily is a Master Certified Coach (MCC), behavioral scientist, and award-winning author of At Ease: The Guide to a Smooth & Successful Military Transition and Field Tested: Recruiting, Managing & Retaining Veterans. Emily specializes in advising organizations on veteran program optimization and cultural integration. Beyond her coaching credentials, Emily held executive roles in large professional services organizations before establishing her successful coaching practice.
