Coaching Millennials: How Gen Y Became the Most Receptive Generation to Coaching
Today, Millennials are the largest generation in population and in the workplace. In fact, by 2020, Millennials will make up more than half of the total workforce. As coaches, we must recognize that Millennials possess a completely different set of values, hopes and ideas that drive them towards success. In other words, for Millennials, coaching is the new managing.
While many top business executives are part of the more fastidious Generation X group, in order to be successful in their role as a coach and leader, we need to understand and embrace the differences of our successors in order to create a society that is effective and where individuals feel valued.
The ‘Coaching Millennials’ session is structured to involve participants in interactive learning activities that:
Identify pros and cons of personality labels and individual learning styles
Present practical tips to improve intergenerational communications between Millennials and more senior generations
Provide coaching strategies to better empower and guide Millennial clients
Mr. Dean’s professional coaching experience and training certifications bring an energetic and thought-igniting facilitation method that promotes interaction and encourages each audience to participate and contribute their knowledge to the group.
There will be 1.5 resource CCEU's given for this program.
